Oh, Baby!

Crying is a normal, everyday activity in the lives of most babies,
but it can be very distressing for the new parents!   Since they
can’t talk, crying is the only way a baby has to communicate.
Join us to learn (and practice!!) several baby-calming techniques
that have worked for many families and feel more confident about
meeting the needs of your own baby.

We will also be discussing babywearing, so bring along your
sling,
moby-style baby wrap, or whatever baby carrier you may already
have for helpful suggestions in using it.  We will have a variety of
baby carriers on hand to be available to try out at the forum.

Additional topics may include but are not limited to:

      *  Is cloth diapering for me?

      *  Homemade baby foods- tips and hints

      *  Babyproofing your home
